Grassroots football competition to be held from 28-31 March.
The place where legends are born is about to begin. The countdown has already begun!
From Endeka Sports we are pleased to announce the 1st edition of the Costa Girona Cup Easter 2024 by Girona FC. International grassroots football tournament that will take place from March 28 to 31, Easter.
The tournament will have 8 categories, from prebenjamin to juvenile, this first edition promises strong emotions and a great competition for all young talents.
40 clubs are expected to participate in the tournament with 89 teams spread across 8 categories. We will have teams from Spain, Holland, Japan, among many others. The flavour of an international tournament will be guaranteed.
The more than 147 matches, totalling 211, including the qualifying and consolation finals, will be held throughout the province of Girona, with the main venue being the Totem Sports Center and additional venues being Vilassar de Dalt and Premia de Dalt. We have opted to hold the entire tournament in one venue, to make transport easier for all the teams. Everything is ready to welcome players from all over the world, creating a truly global atmosphere of grassroots football.
In addition to the strictly sporting aspects, the international grassroots football tournament will be complemented by activities such as the incredible welcome cocktail for all family members and companions, the leaders’ dinner prepared for the coaches/coordinators of the participating clubs and the great tournament party with the medal ceremony.
The opening toast of the tournament will take place on Thursday, March 28 at the Sanddance Pool Club (Lloret de Mar) where all the teams will have the opportunity to meet and get to know each other in order to start off strong on the 29th. We believe that this toast is an important meeting point and social contact with families and the different clubs.
All national and international clubs will be keeping a close eye on the players who will be passing through the Catalan regions during the three days of the spectacular competition. A large number of daily visitors are expected at the various sports venues!
